- 1 ripe banana
- 1 ripe avocado
1. Place ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Place mixture in a Tupperware and then into the freezer. Freeze for 1 hour and enjoy!
Note: If you make a big batch of the ice cream and leave it in the freezer, be sure to take it out for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Option: You can also add a handful of frozen mango for a more tropical/fruity taste!
Its about balance . . .
We all eat foods that we know are not the best for us. Living a healthy lifestyle means eating less of those foods or even giving them up altogether. After recognizing my ice cream habits, I have stopped buying ice cream. Instead, I will have ice cream once and awhile when I am out on the town, or I eat some of the healthy ice cream. The bottom line: If you don’t have unhealthy foods in the house, you won’t be tempted to eat them! Out of sight, out of mind.
